Welcome to the Facilities and Operations page of Pawling CSD, where our commitment to excellence goes beyond the classroom. At Pawling CSD, we believe that a supportive and safe environment is fundamental to nurturing academic achievement and personal growth. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that our facilities are not just spaces for learning but places where community, innovation, and sustainability meet. From state-of-the-art classrooms to well maintained play areas, every aspect of our campus is designed with the well-being and success of our students, staff, and community in mind. Join us in exploring how we’re building the future, one space at a time
Building Condition Survey (BCS)
Every five years, as part of our ongoing commitment to excellence and safety, Pawling CSD engages a professional architecture and engineering firm to conduct a comprehensive Building Condition Survey (BCS) for each building within our district. Mandated by New York State, the BCS is an essential process that evaluates the physical state of our facilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and comfort for our students and staff. The most recent survey was completed in 2020, with the next scheduled for 2025. These surveys play a crucial role in our facilities management strategy, guiding our maintenance, upgrades, and future planning to support our educational mission and community needs.
Track Use
We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the state-of-the-art Pawling Track on Monday,
06/26/2023. This exciting addition to our public school is designed to promote health, wellness,
and an active lifestyle for our community members.
The Pawling Track is open to the public for walking and running, providing a safe and
welcoming environment for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. From dawn to dusk, when
school is not in session, and no athletic events are taking place on the field, you can enjoy the
track's smooth surface and scenic surroundings at your own pace.
To ensure a seamless experience, please check our athletic calendar at
https://pawlingschoolsnyus.tandem.co/ before your visit. This will help you plan your workout
sessions and ensure that no school events are scheduled on the field during your desired time.
To maintain a pleasant and secure atmosphere, please be aware that strollers, bicycles,
scooters, rollerblades and pets are not permitted on the track or field. We appreciate your
understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy.
While we celebrate outdoor activities, we regret to inform you that winter activities such as
snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are not permitted on the track. We want to ensure the
track's longevity and optimal condition for all users.
The Pawling Track is your go-to destination for staying fit, healthy, and connected with our
vibrant community. Lace-up your shoes and join us on this exhilarating journey towards
wellness. We can't wait to see you trackside!
For those interested in utilizing the new field, please note that a "Building Use Form" must be
completed and approved by the district. Applicable fees may apply. This process ensures
equitable access and the proper maintenance of our facilities.
Workplace Violence Prevention
The district is committed to establishing and maintaining a safe and secure workplace for employees. Workplace violence is a safety hazard to the district, its employees, and everyone in the workplace, and
will not be tolerated. All employees are expected to work together to create and maintain a safe and respectful work environment for everyone.
As required by Labor Law §27-b, the district developed and implemented a Workplace Violence Prevention Program to comply with the law and its regulations.
