Making Memories With Grandparents 2025

Our annual event where grandparents enjoy some special time with their grandchildren is back.
We have four fun activities planned. The children and grandparents will be:
1) Making a 3D Butterfly - This will be a nice keepsake to bring home. You might want to put it in a frame or scrapbook. (Please bring some construction paper, a pencil, some glue sticks, scissors, for this activity.) We'll supply the googly eyes and pop poms.
2) Making a Cupcake Liner Fish - Please bring a dinner sized paper plate in any color but white and at least 24 colorful cupcake liners a button and some tape for this activity. You'll also be using glue sticks and scissors again.
3) Sharing some favorite funny jokes with the people at your table. Each grandparent and grandchild should come prepared with a few funny jokes which each will share with the people at their table.
4) It’s become a tradition to play “Musical Chairs” together. The children and grandparents have had so much fun in the past with this game. Please let us know which of your favorite songs to include in the playlist. Prizes for the winning Grandparent and winning Grandchild will be awarded,
Also, please bring a healthy snack to share. (Popcorn, pretzels, baked chips, fruit snacks, fruit, veggies, etc.) Stone Soup will provide lemonade, iced tea and water.
You must register by May 2nd so we can be sure to have enough tables and chairs for everyone.
